Over 60 years of excellence in technical staffing

ESPO's Origination

Gene Esposito Sr. was born in Chicago in 1938. After graduating from Tilden Technical and serving in the military, he enrolled at Illinois Institute of Technology, studying Engineering. Once he earned his degree and worked as an independent contractor, Gene founded ESPO Engineering Corporation in 1965, helping other technical contractors find employment.

In 1985, after several years of successfully serving contractors and clients, Gene moved ESPO's corporate office to Willowbrook, IL, where it currently resides. With years of growth, ESPO Corp expanded to include an in-house design and drafting center as well as ES Cyber Solutions.

Gene Sr. retired in 2000 and Gene's son, Gene Esposito Jr., succeeded the role of President and CEO of ESPO Corporation. Today, Gene Sr. enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and fishing, and is still actively involved with ESPO as a consultant.

Key milestones in ESPO's history of excellence

1965

ESPO Founded

Gene Esposito Sr. founded ESPO Engineering Corporation, helping technical contractors find employment after graduating from Illinois Institute of Technology.

1985

Corporate Office Expansion

After years of successful growth, ESPO moved its corporate office to Willowbrook, IL, where it currently resides, to accommodate increasing client and internal staffing needs.

1994

Drafting & Design Department

ESPO purchased the building adjacent to HQ to house its very own in-house Drafting and Design department, expanding service capabilities.

1995

ES Cyber Solutions Formed

ES Cyber Solutions was formed in response to growing IT needs, establishing our presence in the technology staffing market.

1998

Network Services Launch

ES Cyber Solutions started its network implementation and design group, expanding our IT service offerings.

2000

Leadership Transition

Gene Esposito Jr. assumed the role of president, opening new branches throughout the Chicagoland area and modernizing operations.

2009

IT Security Division

ES Cyber Solutions established a Technical Division that specializes in IT Security Solutions, responding to increasing cybersecurity needs.

2014

National Expansion

Our new ATS, Job Diva, was initiated. ESPO expanded its recruiting efforts nationally, leveraging technology for broader reach.

ESPO continues to increase efficiency and foster relationships with candidates and clients alike, serving companies across the United States with expert technical staffing.

Founder
